Who are we?

Brisbane Air is a locally owned business, based at Brendale, in the northside suburbs of Brisbane. The original air conditioning business was founded by the Lindner family in 1982 and today, Barney Lindner remains in the business as the owner and Head Technician.

Since 1982, we have been continuously serving the Brisbane market, originally under the name of Lindner Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and then since mid-2009, as Brisbane Air.

We are experts in the supply and installation of residential and commercial air conditioning services.

We are a small company, renowned in the Brisbane marketplace for out high quality work and affordable air conditioning solutions, which employ only the best tradespeople.  All our tradesmen are highly skilled and they support their technical expertise with a strong customer service focus and friendly manner.  

We are fully licenced for your peace of mind, holding a QBCC licence (1177083), an Arctik licence (AU22550) and an Electrical Contractors Licence (75448).

What do we do?

Brisbane Air specialises in the provision of high quality and affordable residential and commercial air-conditioning  services:

– Sales, service, design and installation of residential air conditioning systems (including ducted, split, multi head systems). We can offer climate comfort solutions for new and existing apartments, townhouses, one level and two level homes.

– Sales, service, design and installation of commercial air conditioning installations. We can offer climate control solutions for new and existing buildings, for offices, restaurants, bars, clubs and shops.

– Brisbane Air is also fully qualified and licenced to provide electrical contracting services, for both residential and commercial Brisbane customers. This electrical work can be associated with both your new air conditioning, plus also can be provided on a separate electrical services basis.

North Lakes –A Growing Satellite City

One area that Brisbane Air has installed a lot of new air conditioning and provided our very high level of customer service is North Lakes.  Approximately 10 years ago, the first houses were built at North Lakes and since that time Brisbane Air have provided superior air conditioning installation services in North Lakes.

North Lakes is one of the northern suburbs of Brisbane, located less than 10km from Brisbane Air’s base, and approximately 20km to the airport and 25km to the Brisbane CBD. North Lakes is becoming a large satellite city with a variety of cultures. It is apparent that North Lakes is one of the fastest growing communities in the Southern Hemisphere and was awarded Queensland’s and Australia’s best master planned community in 2010. The suburb is mostly made up of newly developed housing, plus a world class golf course and a growing business park.

The suburb includes an abundance of parklands (55 parks and 8 sports fields), schools (3 schools and 6 childcare centres), a health precinct, a retirement village and numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. It currently houses over 15,000 people and continues to grow.  There are also many new facilities in the area, including the North Lakes Community Centre, Pathways Library and Westfield North Lakes. Major tenants of the shopping centre include Target, Coles, Big W, Woolworths, and Myer.

Brisbane Air have been a great supporter of the development of North Lakes, and have completed numerous new ducted and split system installations for both residential and commercial customers in North Lakes.

As most houses in North Lakes have been new builds, BrisbaneAir has mainly provided new installation air conditioning work in North Lakes, in particular for new ducted systems and new split systems.  This has allowed our North Lakes customers to fully enjoy their new homes, whilst in the comfort of top quality air conditioning.

Going forward, Brisbane Air will continue to provide all forms of air conditioning for North Lakes residents.
