Who are we?

Brisbane Air is a locally owned business, based at Bridgeman Downs, in the inner northern suburbs of Brisbane. The original air conditioning and refrigeration business was founded by the Lindner family in 1982. Today, Barney Lindner remains in the business as part owner and chief technical services provider.

Since 1982, we have been continuously serving the Brisbane market, under the name of Lindner Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. In mid-2009, we decided to expand and re-brand our business, and therefore we changed our name from Lindner Refrigeration and Air Conditioning to Brisbane Air.

We are experts in the provision of residential and commercial air conditioning and commercial refrigeration services.

What do we do?

Brisbane Air specialises in the provision of high quality and affordable air-conditioning and refrigeration services:

- Sales, service, design and installation of residential air conditioning systems (including ducted, split, zoned). We can offer climate comfort solutions for new and existing apartments, townhouses, one level and two level homes.

- Sales, service, design and installation of commercial air conditioning installations. We can offer climate control solutions for new and existing buildings, for offices, restaurants, bars, clubs and shops.

- Sales, service, design and installation for commercial refrigeration requirements.

Renovation after the Floods.

Most importantly is that when they came on board, we did not have to worry about that part of our rebuilding project. "We recently (June 2010) had ducted air conditioning installed by Brisbane Air. I spent most of the day at home with my 5 month old baby whilst the job was being done, and was very impressed with the standard of work and professionalism with which the job was carried out. They were able to find solutions to access problems and took the time to do the job properly for minimal impact on the character of our 90 year old Queenslander. They were a really friendly bunch of guys and left us with easy to follow instructions and confidence in their warranty and service. The whole installation was great value and Ian's quote was over a $1000 lower than the 2 others I had on the exact same system."

"We just installed a Mitsubishi Ducted Air Con and I could not believe how quick and efficient Barney and Ian's installation team were. A team of about 4 came out onsite and installed our ducted aircon within 5 hours. At the end of the installation, one of the technician's even picked up our vacuum and started vacuuming the littlest amount of dust leftover from the installation. I could not have been more impressed at the professionalism and honesty showed by BrisbaneAir and will not hesitate to recommend them to everyone. Nothing was too hard or too difficult for Ian and Barney and I am truly impressed at how easy it was to deal with them. Price wise... they were close to 10% cheaper than the 4 other quotes I received and I don't think the others would have been this easy to deal with from quote to installation."‎
